Shannon is an incredible survivor. She has overcome things that most of us will most likely never have to. WE shot some great stuff today, and She was very kind in letting me get some close shots of her Trach. Thank you Shannon.

On a side note, The whole time I was editing this image, Pink Floyd's "Breathe" was running on a loop through my head.

I like the colors and textures in this...I thought her trach was jewelry at first! Had to do a double-take there....

Wow, what an intriguing, confronting but also beautiful image.

The pose is so elegant and it kind of disguises what the picture is actually about yet making it blantly obvious.

Most people, I think, would interpret it as jewelry. Getting more into it, and discovering what it really is, shows you're interested, and THAT, I like!
